I had a great time with Dani and Chris as we took photos for their first anniversary together last week! This was my last July mini session, and a great way to wrap up a busy month. I really enjoyed hearing about their fun destination wedding in Hawaii, and I could only think about how (a) I wish I could go back in time and have an amazing destination wedding!, and (b) I wish I had gotten professional photos done on our first anniversary, too, because marriage before kids is such an important time to enjoy and remember! I am already nostalgic about those years so I am glad that Dani and Chris contacted me to capture it for them!
I was so happy to photograph these two as they wait on the arrival of their first child! We met in downtown Houston and enjoyed slightly cooler temperatures (for the middle of summer) since it rained earlier in the day. It ended up being a beautiful evening, and this couple was a lot of fun. They were making jokes about not being able to hug around the baby, which made me laugh because I remember being pregnant like it was yesterday (since it practically was)! It’s so obvious to anyone observing them that they are best friends — considerate, candid, loving, and goofy with each other, all at once — and that they are going to make awesome parents. Congratulations, Christin & Bob!
I’m so excited for Amber and Jeremiah as they wait on their son to arrive in just a few short weeks! We met up early on Saturday morning to avoid some of the heat for this fun maternity session. Aren’t tiny baby Converse the cutest? Congratulations and can’t wait to meet Lucas!
These two are in the middle of a big move into the city, and to celebrate their new lifestyle we took these photos in the Museum District back in early June. What a fun new chapter they are beginning!
This family is so much fun — I had a great time meeting Bethany, Saby, and their beautiful dog Ziva on Saturday morning! They are expecting their first child in August and I’m so glad I could capture their fun personalities as they enter into the next stage of their marriage & lives together. We enjoyed checking out the blue trees and I think Ziva even got a treat or two out of the experience.
And you have to love that pregnant glow! Beautiful!
